Bernice Elizabeth (Robinson) Browning passed away March 13, 2011 in Houston, TX. Born August 23, 1924 in Arkabutla, MS to Lee and Martha Robinson. She was a member of Sharpstown Baptist Church. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James D. Browning and infant daughter, Janice. She is survived by sons; James Jr., Charles & Frances, Thomas & fiancée Stephanie Morris; grandchildren, Kelly & Danny Baggett, Kimberly & Rick Reeves, Catherine and Sarah Browning, John Tieman; great-grandchildren, Hailey & Cole Baggett, Kristin Reeves; and other extended family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077 (281) 497-2330. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Forest Park East Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sharpstown Baptist Church Building Fund.
