Bertha R. Gonzalez

Bertha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hector Gonzalez. She was also preceded in death by her son Hector Javier Gonzalez who died in October 2012. Bertha is survived by her daughter Delia Cisneros and husband Manuel, son Jose Gonzalez and his wife Maria, son Jaime Gonzalez and wife Nelly and daughter Leticia Gonzalez. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, Hector, Edward, Bertha, Jackie, Melissa, Annie, Jose, Michael, Alex, Cindy, Albert, Ana, Eric, Alyssa, and Adrian. She also had eighteen great-grandchildren, Hector, Vincent, Yasmine, Danny, Ariyana, Nicolas, Isaac, Diego, Gael, Camila, Jorge, Briana, Georgie, Krystal, Jasmine, Maileen, Madelynn, and Jose.

The Gonzalez family will receive family and friends on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 1:00 – 9:00 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services with a Rosary held at 7:00 pm, 7010 Chetwood Dr., Houston Texas 77081. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held the following day on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 4015 Sherman St, Houston, Texas 77003 followed by a funeral procession to Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

The Gonzalez family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support in many heart-felt forms from too many people to name individually.

Bertha R. González, de 86 años, nació en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México. Entró por las puertas del cielo el 12 de agosto 2013, después de una vida plena y larga.

Bertha sobrevivio la muerte de su amado esposo, Héctor González. También sobrevivio la muerte de su hijo Héctor Javier González, quien murió en octubre de 2012. Le sobrevive sus hijas e hijos: Delia Cisneros y su esposo Manuel, José González y su esposa María, Jaime González y su esposa Nelly y Leticia Gonzalez. También le sobreviven quince nietos, Héctor, Eduardo, Bertha, Jackie, Melissa, Annie, José, Miguel, Alex, Cindy, Albert, Ana, Eric, Alyssa y Adrian. Ella también tenía dieciocho bisnietos, Hector, Vincent, Yasmine, Danny, Ariyana, Nicolas, Isaac, Diego, Gael, Camila, Jorge, Briana, Georgie, Krystal, Jasmine, Maileen, Madelynn y José.

La familia Gonzalez recibirá familia y amigos en Jueves, 15 de agosto 2013 de 1:00-21:00 a Advantage Funeral y servicios de cremación con un Rosario celebrada a las 7:00 pm, 7010 Chetwood Dr, Houston Texas 77081. Un servicio funeral celebrando su vida se llevará a cabo el día siguiente en Viernes, 16 de agosto 2013 a las 11:00 am en Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 4015 Sherman St, Houston, Texas 77003 seguido de un cortejo fúnebre al Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
