Bettie Sue Heinrich

Bettie Sue Heinrich, 84, was born September 15, 1931 in Rusk, Texas to Teria Oleta Murphy and John Wilson Grammer. She went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ at 11:56 a.m. on December 30, 2015, surrounded by her family.

Bettie Sue married Victor Julius Heinrich Sr. on November 24, 1950, and they were happily married for 37 years. They had 2 sons, Victor Julius Heinrich Jr. and Larry Wayne Heinrich.

She was preceded in death by her husband Victor, mother Teria Oleta, stepfather John Williams, father John Grammer, brother Wiley Grammer, and father and mother-in-law John and Agnes Heinrich.

Some called her Mother, some called her Mom, some called her Meemaw, and others called her Sue, but whatever she was called, she was loved by all.

Bettie Sue was a wonderful mother to Victor and Larry, as well as an awesome mother-in-law to Pat & Jane. She dearly loved her granddaughter Kristi and her 8 grandsons Rusty, Steven, Jeremy, Danny, Shane, Michael, Matt, & Jordan, who all loved her greatly. She also adored her 19 great grandchildren ranging from 6 months to 22 years. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.

She was especially close to her sister-in-law Dolly Christie, as well as good friends Billie Boze and Daisy Wilson. They traveled together until she was unable to, but they all remained best friends. She will also be fondly remembered by many of her friends and coworkers from the Sears Service Center, where she worked for 15 years.
