Betty Jean Branch

Betty Jean Branch was born January 23, 1931 in Oklahoma City, OK to Sherrell Melton and Mary Helen Allen. She went to be with her Lord on October 15, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Branch, and her son Kenneth Branch. She is survived by her brother and sister in law, Robert and Judy Allen, her two daughters and sons in law, Lisa and Will Cunningham and Cindy and Dearl Worsham, daughter in law, Charlotte Branch, 10 grandchildren and 3 grandchildren in law, Bobby Branch, Andrew and Yang Branch, Christy and Emily Branch; Rebecca and Caleb McGuire, Rachel and Eli Wang, Deborah Cunningham, Catherine Cunningham, Steven Worsham, and Jessica and Michael Harakal, and one great granddaughter, Eleanor McGuire.

Betty was a longtime member of Houston First Church of the Nazarene, and loved singing hymns and studying her Bible. She was a devoted mom, sister, wife, grandmother, aunt and friend to many.

We will miss her sweet nature, her amazing patience, her wonderful cooking, her servant's heart, and her loving disposition. We rejoice that she is now singing on key and dancing to the beat with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
