She retired after 30 years from FMC Technology, and she volunteered at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital for six years.
Betty was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, John Carlisle; her father, Charlie Adams and mother, Jodie Ruth Kilgo and step-father, Billy Jo Kilgo. She is survived by daughters Carrie Rodriguez and her husband Louis; Traci Long and her husband Gary; five loving grandchildren, Amanda Clegg (Daniel), Maegan Sharp (Anthony) , Ryan Carlisle, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Dylan Long; and five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Lily and Olivia Clegg; and Chase and Cadence Sharp.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
