She met Norman in Houston, Texas and married on January 15, 1960, and together they spent 63 wonderful years together. Betty had a career in education and real estate. She was a member of Texas Association of realtors and had a passion for crafting, painting, gardening, traveling, musical instruments, and birds.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lee; mother, Helen Marie; brother, Thomas Lee.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Gerald; daughters, Angela and husband Rick Patton, Rhonda and husband Mike Duggan; grandchildren, Ricky and Krista Patton, Rebecca and Robert Dodson; great grandchildren, Brody, Gracie, Madilynn, and Truette Patton; sister, Ruth and husband RJ Nitsche; nephews, Dustin and Ryan Gersch.

A visitation for Betty will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM. A committal service will occur Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
