Betty Jean “Penny” Pennington Grantham, 85 of Houston, Texas, born November 5, 1929 in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 5, 2014 on her 85th birthday at Concierge Nursing Home in Houston, Texas.
Memorial service will be conducted at Brookside Funeral Home on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 1pm.
Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas.
Preceded in death by: Husband: Wiley Grantham Sr., Mother: Wilbur Jean Ledbetter, Son: Richard Roy Grantham.
Survivors include: Son: Wiley Neal Grantham Jr., Brother: James Roy Pennington (Marian) of Atlanta, Georgia, Grandchildren: Rita Christine Lengua (Carlos), Lucas Wiley Grantham of Austin, Texas, Niece: Jamie Renee Pennington Barnes (Greg), Nephew: Robert Roy Pennington (Valerie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Great-Grandchildren: Carlo Antonio Lengua, Sofia Christine Lengua and Gabriella Marie Lengua. Extended family Lilly Shannon, Burt Bowen and countless friends that were a part of her life and love her deeply.
