Betty Ruth Hubbard was born to George and Nell Tadlock on December 10, 1933 in Waco, Texas, and left to be with the Lord on May 16, 2018 at the age of 84. Betty was raised by her step mother, Ona Tadlock after her mother’s untimely death.
In her later years, Betty received her Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland and her Masters degree from The American University, graduating with top honors. Betty was an overachiever and accepted many awards throughout her career. After working for the Pentagon for multiple years, Betty retired and spent the first 10 years traveling around the world to many countries, which was her passion in life. She also enjoyed oil and water color painting, and needlepoint; as well as had many other artistic abilities.
Left to cherish Betty’s memories are her children, Frank Gaylor, Darrell Gaylor and his wife Katrina, Brenda Gaylor Heitzman, and Roger White and his wife Maggie. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Ryan Heitzman, Kevin Pamplin and his wife Amanda, Johnny Hays and his wife Magan, Travis Gaylor, and Sarah White; her great grandchildren, Tanner Pamplin, Aayden Heitzman, and Emmaleen Hays.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents George and Ona Tadlock, Nell Tadlock, her sister Betty Sue Robinette, her brother Mickey Tadlock, her daughter, Cheryl Michelle Hargraves.
We would also like to give special thanks to Joseph Reed, who loved and cared for Betty on many occasions, and helped the family out in times of need.
