Betty Ann Monroy

Betty Ann Parish, age 80, of Navasota, Texas passed into eternal rest on Wednesday November 8, 2017. Betty was born September 6, 1937 to Dorothy A. Eaves and David H. Nelson. She worked part-time as a soda jerk and also work at a doll factory. Betty attended Cochran Street Baptist for many years. She loved fishing and gardening.

Left to cherish her memories are her spouse, Sergio Monroy; daughters: Brenda M. Parish and Lynette K. Parish; grandchildren: Leah K. Williams, Alexandra D. Williams and great-grandchildren: Braylon M. Collins, Brookelynn K. Collins; sister Carolyn A. Lee and husband Rickey Lee; sister Janet L. Murray and husband Chris Murray; brother David H. Nelson. Betty was preceded in death by; father David H. Nelson; mother Dorothy A. Eaves and step-father John E. Eaves; son Arnold A. Parish, Jr.; grandmother Esther M. Lindemann.

A vistation for Betty will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A burial will occur at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039-2623.
