Sister Merritt was such a sweet and kind lady.  Always in prayer for others.  Compassionate and soft spoken.  We would visit and have talks about her love for the Lord. She will be missed. Family may you all find peace and comfort in the Lord.....HE is with you. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Only once in a while, God graces us with a glimpse of His glory through His creation.  How grateful we must be to have Him bestow such a blessing.  Mrs. Merritt was truly one of His jewels.  She will be missed this side of heaven, however, we who knew her here also know that she is enjoying her everlasting life with Him.

I will forever cherish Mrs. Merritt's  spirit, kindness and grace. She groomed and invested in many youth at Gethsemane MBC. I am glad I was one of them. Mrs.Beulah T. Merritt and my mother, Mrs.Ollie Mae Combs-Ivory were cousins that  were born the same year, and grew up together in Homer, La.My mother often spoke fondly of her. Please accept my sincerest condolence, and may she rest in heaven. These two cousins are now in the presence of the Lord.

Bigmama I remember all of the laughs we had while sitting at the table eating. It was great times with you. Even when I was coming to clean your house and washing your hair we always had long talks. Of all the memories, we all are saying the say thing , you always gave us something before we left your house always. Now u are with big daddy again. Together y’all will continue to watch over our family. I love and miss u. 🙏🏾🥲
