Beverly Ann Johnson Robbins, “Bev”, “Mawmaw”, “Mummy”, & “Mama”, age 68, passed on to heavenly peace on March 5, 2023, at her home in Waller Texas, after a long painful battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born in Lake Charles La, Beverly was a simple woman that loved her family and always had a special light in her eyes for the grandchildren. Family gatherings were some of her most favorite times. She had a creative knack for crafts, was quite the talented hairstylist, and a computer whiz to boot. Let us not forget the Elvis fanaticism. Elvis is not gone, he is in Memphis, and you had sure better not say any different in her presence. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Beverly’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph, father Robert “Buck” Johnson, brother “Little Mike” Johnson, sister Kathy “Kat” Brown, and sweet chocolate lab Rex. Left to hold her in memory are, her mother Dorothy Johnson; children Lucy and John Florom, Sheri Lawrence, Teri and Pablo Rojas, David Robbins, and her beloved Kiara; grandchildren Jonathan, Blair, Juan, Christian, David, Joshua, Nicholas, Adrian, and Abby Lee; 10 great grand-children, plus one “loading”; brothers Robert Johnson and Frank Brown; and many other family and friends. Although not necessary, if you wish to send an expression of sympathy, we ask that you please consider a donation to an Alzheimer’s or animal relief charity in lieu of flowers. A remembrance service will be held to celebrate her life at 12:00 noon on May 14, 2023, at the Fields Store Community Center, 26098 FM 362, Waller Texas.
