Beverly was born in Corpus Christi on the 18th of January 1936, to Naomi Pearl Brown Sharp and William Alexander Sharp. Beverly was a graduate of Ray High School, Corpus Christi, Texas class of 1954, where she was a member of the school band as a twirler and majorette. After graduating, she attended Texas A&I Kingsville.
Beverly married Thomas R. Swantner in 1955, in Corpus Christi, Texas. They shared nearly 20 years together raising their three daughters: Deborah Lee, Diana Jo, and Susan Alexandria. They lived happily in Corpus Christi participating in local politics and the community.
Beverly moved to Houston in 1975 and became an apartment property manager. There, she married William J. Till in 1977 in Rome, Italy. Beverly was a very accomplished water skier, hunter, and gardener. She loved to spend time outdoors and was the most gracious hostess for friends and family. She loved to travel and enjoyed trips with family and friends. She enjoyed winning at Gin Rummy, vacationing in tropical destinations, and spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She loved weekly bridge game gatherings at the Katy Senior Center with her dearest friends. In her spare time, she kept her mind sharp by assembling jigsaw puzzles. Beverly remained active in her community and continued to give selflessly to her friends and family until succumbing to advanced heart failure over the course of a few short months.
