Billie Ann (Kohn) Baggett

Billie Ann (Kohn) Baggett, age 81, of Spring, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Born August 8, 1938 to George Kohn and Verda King Kohn in Shreveport, Louisiana and raised in Magnolia, Arkansas, she graduated from Sam Houston High School where she met her husband David. As their family grew, Billie and David worked hard to build their dream house together. The house might have never been completely finished in her eyes, but it would eventually be considered home for many, no matter if they lived there or not. Billie enjoyed family life, going dancing, and creating beautiful things to decorate her home. Later in life she enjoyed long conversations, making up stories with her great-grandchildren, and watching the Astros with David.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, George & Verda King Kohn. Left to cherish her memory, loving husband: David Baggett; children: Steven Baggett, Bart Baggett and wife Renee, Rene Baggett and husband Gary Caka, Cherea Baggett and husband Bryan Kelm; grandchildren: Bryan Baggett and wife Melissa, Chad Alexander, Brittany Baggett and husband Brandon Reese, Chase Baggett, and Daylie De'Nae Carter and husband Zac Carter; great-grandchildren: Kyle Reese, Cheyenne Reese, Lilian Baggett, Ava Baggett, Kaiden James Clark, Adalena Baggett, Eli Reese, Ethan Reese, and Jax Logan Carter.

Visitation for Billie will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 5 PM to 8 PM. The funeral service will beginning on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10 AM. All services will take place at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park immediately after the funeral service.
