

Billie Bilski Jr., age 76, passed away August 17, 2015. Born in Brenham, Texas on February 2, 1939, he was a long time member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, the Men’s Club, Bingo committee; money counters team, the Golden Youth organization and a part time employee of the parish. Billie was an employee of Graver Tank and Manufacturing for 40 years as a shop foreman. He loved going to their week-end place in the country near Ellinger. He also loved to barbeque, family gatherings, listening to polka music and the annual summer vacation time in New Braunfels. Billie is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Matura), of 48 years, his son Patrick Bilski, wife Robyn (Jackowski), and two cherished granddaughters, Sarah and Loryn Bilski. Brothers; Paul Bilski (Josie), Otto Bilski (Nancy), Joe Bilski (Carolyn), sisters Anita Swoboda (John), Barbara Janda (Al), brother-in-law Larry Okonski (Monica), sisters in-law; Theresa Bilski and Mary Bilski; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Billie was preceded in death by his parents, Billie and Maggie (Twardowski) Bilski, his brothers, Andrew, Pete and Daniel Bilski, his sister Valeria Okonski, and sister in-law, Lillian Bilski.
Visitation will be held from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, Friday August 21, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston, Texas 77092, with a Rosary Service to be recited at 7:30pm.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be a 12:00 pm, Saturday August 22, 2015 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston, Texas 77092. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Ellinger, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Bilski, Keith Bilski, Dwayne Bilski, Daryl Okonski, Kollin Geraci, Jason Janda and Robert Jackowski. Honorary Pallbearers are the Members of the St. Ambrose Men’s club and Willie Warren.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston, Texas 77092.
