Billie Jane will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched throughout her long life.
She is survived by her children: Gary Godby and his wife, Veronica; Corky Morton; Brenda Conley and her husband, Larry; and Larry Godby and his wife, Sue. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who will continue to carry her memory forward through the generations.
Billie Jane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orville H. Godby; her great granddaughter, Britney Rodgers; and her great grandson, James Rodgers.
Billie Jane's love and legacy will live on through her family and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved her.
Billie Jane will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and loved ones. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she leaves behind.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on October 29, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by the funeral at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A graveside service will take place at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, US, on October 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
