I wish everyone could feel the love that i felt from my mom. She was such a strong woman with a huge heart and beautiful smile. I loved her laugh, her cute little mischievous looks she would give and her spitfire spirit. I hope I grow to be half the woman she was. I will miss that woman so much and it hurts so bad, but I'm so happy she is not in any more pain and I can just see her dancing in heaven.

Working with Billie was quite a joy.....she was always laughing, smiling and wanting to help.

Within the 1st week of coming to work here in Jan. 1980, I worked a midnight shift with Billie and the next day when I saw my mom, I was telling her about this wonderful woman named Billie that I worked with. My mom looked at me kind of puzzled and asked if this woman had red hair, I said yes. She asked does she have a nickname of Wild Bill, I said yes, how would you know - as it turns out my mom and Billie both played on leagues at a bowling alley on Fulton in the mid 60's. My mom remembered this vibrant woman with strawberry red hair that worked for a railroad that was the life of the party. Small world.

I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Billie was an amazing woman. She was a friend to so many. She was kind ,generous and compassionate. She loved life and lived it to the fullest as long as she could. She was a true friend to me and my family. We should all be so blessed to have had her as a friend. She will be missed immensely but she will always be in my heart.
