Billie Jean Schuster, of Houston, Texas was surrounded by family when she passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born December 31, 1926 in Redland, Texas to Lonnie and Lula Brevelle. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie T. Brevelle, Jr.
Billie Jean is survived by husband, Robert (Bob) Schuster, daughters Mary Killingsworth, Terri Smith (Husband Hal), Lisa Holyfield (Husband Paul), and son Bill Schuster (Wife Marilyn). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Billie was a sales coordinator for Walgreen’s Distribution Center in Houston, Texas. Upon retirement, Billie Jean remained involved with her church, First Baptist Church of Katy, where she volunteered as secretary. Billie Jean was an active supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project.
A time of gathering with family to commemorate Billie Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18, at 2:00 with visitation beginning at 1:00 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas. Burial will immediately follow the service at Forest Park Westheimer.
