BJ was born in Humble in 1930, married the love of her life Clyde in 1949 & was married for almost seventy years. She met him when he was delivering milk to their home. She was a very active, positive & hard working woman who never met a stranger. She was a supportive wife & mother who raised three children, was a real estate agent, a property manager & all around entrepreneur working side by side with Clyde. She was a fifty plus year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a long term member of the Garden Club, Hi -Neighbor, women of Rotary, Red Hat Society & years long volunteer at the Theater.
She spent years taking her daughters to rodeos & horseshows from the Houston Rodeo to small town rodeos all over the state to support her daughters in their passion for horses. She was a world traveler who was always ready to go with Clyde, her children & friends. From a local parade in Humble, to Mardi Gras in New Orleans or a wedding in India, she was always up to it. BJ & Clyde also enjoyed camping & travelled to all 50 states & Canada in their travel trailer. They enjoyed even more camping with the grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Hulon & Thelma Jones, her husband Clyde Francis, her daughter Jana Francis, her son in law Robert Patton & her sister Dorothy DarDar.
BJ is survived by her children Sheryl Patton & Rick Francis & her daughter in law Indiana Francis.
Grandchildren: Nicole Rapoza, Dana McIntyre & husband Robert McIntyre, Morgan Patton & Danny Francis. Great Grandchildren: Nathan Rapoza, Kellady McIntyre, Harlyn McIntyre & Sterling Graham.
