Bobbie Ruth Watson

Bobbie Ruth Watson, 76, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend of many, peacefully but unexpectedly passed to be with the Lord on Friday, November 30, 2012. Lifelong Houstonian, Bobbie Ruth was born on February 23, 1936 to, and preceded in death by her parents, Otis Issac Smart and Phoebe Ruth Innis. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Brown, and sister, Wanda Lee Elliot.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Singletary and husband Clayton, Thomas Watson Jr. and wife Theresa, Michael Watson and wife Della, and Tina Armintor. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Stephanie Starkey, Carie Gamboa, and Jesika Vincent; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Christian Gamboa, Baylee Campbell, Brent Starkey, and Jake Vincent.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Advantage Howard Glendale Chapel at 10:00 am. Graveside services will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to Woodforest Presbyterian Church, 15330 Wallisville Rd., Houston, Texas, 77049.
