Daddy’s oak tree giving him shade now. 

Hardest thing I’ve ever done was saying goodbye for now. All the seats were taken and standing room only. 

The kids laid flowers over you with all their love daddy. I can’t quite breathe today as I lie in your bed and imagine your in your recliner.

My daddy and his oldest brother Waymon. Giving us advice in the hospital with mom in Victoria! I stayed all week and daddy came over each day! Blessed with all this time with them both! 

Daddy was always messing with the great grand babies! He loved to make Bralyn squeal. He loved that girl.  And she loved him right back. 

My daddy was over the moon since we got our new house in Seadrift. He was so happy to see me in a brand new. Paid for home. He didn’t like worrying about maintenance anymore and loved coming over for Tonnies bbq or seafood feats at our nice roomier home! This is just who my daddy was! 

Daddy never far from momma. Even in hospitals. I shared many a night with momma in various hospitals and dads rooms watching over their care. I was so blessed to be with them even in rooms so small we took shifts of rest or duty to insure both were healthy when we got out. My daddy and momma have had some serious health issues or injuries. They were the epitome of love each other in sickness and in health. 

I will forever hold this very moment so dear to my heart. My momma and daddy standing up with us as Ronnie and I celebrate our union in Port O’Connor Texas on 12/31/06! Mom helped with flowers and food.  Dad helped with the lodge and walked me down the aisle happily to wed us. Not many folks can say their parents stood up with them during such a memorial evening! 

I’ve been so blessed to have a husband (Ronnie Gooden) that loves my parents while they adore him right back! It’s truly been nice to have so many family dinners together over the past 20 years! 

He loved his Bralyn Nevaeh. Just like he loved his first grandchild; Chantelle. So blessed to have HIS love! 

Dad loved going to watch the sand crabs 🦀 cherish memories alway with him and uncle Waymon and Cecil and Norman

Anniversary picture of mom and dad! July 6 would have been 60 years! Daddy adored my momma and did anything he could to make her happy. They cared and supported each other through some rocky roads and health battles. Unconditional love! 

We loved cooking for dad and mom in Seadrift. My husband adores my parents and for birthdays. Anniversaries. Holidays we’ve had some incredible meals! What an honor to have so many blessed memories together. It was always a seafood extravaganza and my dad wants all his friends and family to enjoy a good meal together in his honor!

When we met Bobby and Fon they treated us like a part of their family. And it never changed. Whenever and wherever I saw them they always had a hug for me. 
Our thought’s and prayers are with the family in your time of sorrow.

Great Uncle Bobby you are going to be missed dearly. I know my pawpaw, Uncle Waymon, Aunt Ann, your mom and dad, and Benjamin was waiting with open arms at those gates. I can't thank you enough for always being there for my pawpaw when he needed you for anything.  You were the baby but you made sure all your brothers were taken care of. I remember all of our breakfast mornings when I was with my pawpaw which was nearly every weekend. Our weekend visits to see you and Aunt Fon. You always told me don't let small stuff bring you down always keep moving foward. You told me know matter what there will always be someone proud of you. I still live to this day remembering those words. Love you always!

My daddy was the ultimate daddy. Worked hard since a teenager in Port Lavaca. He learned hard work is how you get ahead by watching his momma. Ruby BOYD. He was the baby of 4 brothers. Waymon. Cecil. Ronal. Norman. He adored his brothers and their wives & so proud of his family. He did years of research to find all his extensive BOYD family tree. He always kept up with everyone and tried to ensure everyone knew that he loved and cared for them all. My daddy never met a stranger. He could always make you laugh and feel completely loved. 
He Went to work in Houston as a gas station attendant. That’s where he met his beloved wife Fontilla.  He fell in love instantly. Joined the Air Force & They married July 6: 1962. He went to boot camp near Amarillo. 
They couldn’t stand to be apart so finally when allowed my momma packed her suitcase and rode a bus for many hours to be with daddy. Soon after they were stationed in New York and the locals in the area adopted them. Skip to 1964 and they had me. By 1966 they were back in Houston and then had TAMMY. Daddy was applying for jobs and Alcoa was just starting up and willing to train young men in Point Comfort Texas. So they moved there and daddy start his apprenticeship. After a couple years they saved up enough to buy a house in Port Lavaca. They raised us there. He worked hard and learned all sorts of skills and became tool room manager after he was severely burned on the job there in 1989. He worked until retirement in mid 90’s. He won all sorts of awards and was an active member of the union. His dedication to his beloved wife and daughters was legendary. Also his devotion to grandkids  Chantelle & Dustin. He was still carting great grandkids around until not too long ago. Daddy; you are forever my Superman. I love you forever. 58 years of your devotion &unwavering support was surreal. I was blessed to have you all these years. I’m not sure how to carry on without you. But I will keep my promise!(143 daddy. 143 )

My name is Richard Perkins. I’m a friend of Beckey’s. My memory of Bobby is when he gave me $40 when I came down to see Beckey. He knew I didn’t have any money to take Beckey to the movie. He just did it because he was kind. 
Bobby and Fon we’re both kind to me. I’ll never forget it. I know Bobby will be missed very much.
