Bobby S. Thomas

Bob was born on November 11, 1935, in Somerville, Texas, and enjoyed over 40 years as a successful business owner in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. He honorably served in The United States Army and continued to implement the values of honesty and integrity through his family and business. He enjoyed fishing, spending time in his yard, and especially time with his family. His most cherished moments were spent at family cookouts by the pool with all of his children and grandchildren around him.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Minnie Thomas; sister, Liz May and her husband, Herb, and his first wife, Yvonne Thomas.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Thomas; his children, D’Nette Dodds and husband Dale, Dana Sheward, Jeff Thomas and wife Stacy, Angela Dentler and husband Dale, and Colin Curry; and his beautiful grandchildren Ryan, Mary, Kyle, Brandy, Brock, Teylor, Hope, Chase, Cole, Dalton, Dane, Cody, Lauren, and Cade; brothers Clyde Thomas and wife Ruth, and Bill Thomas and wife Joyce.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Bob was known for his generosity and the family requests that giving spirit continue in support of Angela Dentler, who continues her fight against Leukemia.
