Bradford Ray Rohus

Bradford Ray Rohus passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021 at the age of 74 in Tomball, Texas. He was born in Decatur, TX. on January 9, 1947 to Lloyd Edward and Wilma “Ruth” Rohus. Brad attended Sam Houston High School. Annette Deloris Sanchez become his loving wife on March 21st, 1981 and was a devoted husband for 36 years.

Brad was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Rohus, his parents, Lloyd Edward and Ruth, and brother, Lloyd Jr. Rohus. Brad is survived by his children, Reginal Gilbert & wife Betty, Chris Gilbert and wife Sienna, Lisa Rohus Newton and husband Jesus Robledo, brother Jim Royston and wife; grandchildren Paula Rohus, Jaime Newton, Curtis Rich, and Johnathan “Hunter” Newton.

Brad was a respected machinist and safety coordinator for General Electric and Dresser-Rand for

much of his working career. He loved reading, watching western movies, and fishing when he had the chance. Brad was a solid family man and enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings with his wife, Annette. He was a role model his children and grandchildren, teaching the value of hard work, commitment, and perseverance. We will all miss his smile, his cooking, his advice, and those big blue eyes that wooed Annette. We won't miss him forever, for those who are in Christ will be together again one day.

Brad wished to be cremated and have his remains placed next to his loving wife. A memorial service for Bradford will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. Following the memorial service will be a interment service from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
