I've been really trying to hold back 
my tears because I know you wouldn't want me to cry. I just didn't expect you to leave us so soon.God must have special plans for you. 

I am so glad you were a part of my life. Some of the most precious moments you were a part of and I will hold on to that forever. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for always being there and loving me like you did. I feel so blessed to of had such a wonderful Aunt.

I promise to call up Uncle Rick and humor him every now and then. I know you would like that.

While working together at Chase in Houston, Brenda and I would have the most fun confusing our project partners on which Brenda was assigned a certain task.  Brenda P. or Brenda I.  At one point, we had offices right next to each other so many times her mail, etc. would end up on my desk and vice versa.  I loved that girl!  She will be missed by the many, many people she touched while working at JPMC.  Rick, you and your family are in my prayers.  I know what it is like to lose a spouse to the "C" word.  Please know you will be thought of often.

I worked with Brenda at First City Bank, Northeast when I was a senior at M.B. Smiley High School.  Even though that was a long time ago, I remember her warm smile and how sweet a person she was.  She was always happy and very friendly as well.  My condolences to her family, and may she rest in peace.

Brenda was such a kind and gentle person. She never said a cross word about anyone and was always there to listen. She will be deeply missed. My prayers are with her family at this sorrowful time.

My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Even though I never got the pleasure to meet Brenda, I can still remember the love and friendship you had from our conversations at work. I hope to have that kind of love someday. As I read all of the entries here about Brenda, my eyes are filled with tears. I just can't believe she's gone. My heart goes out to Rick and the immediate family members who will miss their loved one so much. I am praying for the family and friends. My memories of Brenda are mostly of her laugh and how she would talk so fast and I would always get tickled at her about that. I loved Brenda and enjoyed my 5 years of working with her at First City Bank Northeast. All of us were and still are a special family. I will always remember your smile Brenda and your laughter. May you rest in peace now until we meet again in Heaven.

Brenda was a special gift given to us from our Heavenly Father.  We got to love, laugh and share our life with her.  Take comfort in knowing that one day we will be reunited with Brenda.  Give thanks for all the memories that Brenda gave to us.  Her strength, encouragement and dedication will always be remembered.  I will look down the hall and see her in her office busy talking on the phone and smiling.  Brenda was never too busy to acknowledge me and help me with a problem.  Brenda will truly be missed.

I will treasure all the memories that I have when me and Jr would come stay at your house and the many trips to Astroworld and Waterworld. We always felt welcome and loved at your house.
