Brenda May Vivienne Isaacs, age 90, of Houston, Texas passed away on July 31st, 2021. She was born in Richmond, St. Mary, Jamaica, West Indies on July 5th, 1931 to Lewis Charles Mair and Vida Vivienne Goodison Mair.
Brenda graduated from Saint Andrew’s High School and received a certificate of nursing from Kingston Public Hospital.
She married Everard Benjamin in 1950 and produced 3 children- Robert, Jean and Peter. That marriage dissolved in 1967, after which she remained single while raising her children. Later she married Charles Isaacs in 1979, until his death in 2016.
Brenda had a career in nursing, she loved rendering aid to people in need.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witness and had a passion for helping others to learn the truth about Jehovah, Jesus and their promises.
She also loved to travel by road to many different places. Can you say “Road Trip”, and she was ready to go. She enjoyed dancing, cooking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by sons- Robert A Benjamin (Wife: Erlin) and Peter S Benjamin (Wife: Donna), daughter- M Jean Benjamin “MJ”, 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, 2 nephews, 1 niece and a plethora of other family and friends who love her dearly.
Memorial service is on August 28th via Zoom.
