Brenda’s life was defined by her remarkable generosity and compassionate spirit, touching the hearts of everyone she encountered. A dedicated friend, colleague, and mentor, she was known for her unwavering kindness, selflessness, and infectious positivity. Brenda always put others first, offering a helping hand and a listening ear, and she was a steadfast champion of her family, friends, and community.
Brenda had a profound impact on the Houston design community, spending many years at Gensler, where she played an integral role in shaping a workplace culture that felt like home to all who worked there. Her contributions went beyond the office—she was deeply committed to numerous charitable causes. Brenda served on the Board of the Society of Design Administration (SDA) and was an active supporter of organizations such as CANstruction for the Houston Food Bank, Dress for Success, and various holiday toy drives, always seeking to improve the lives of others.
A lifelong friend to many, Brenda’s influence was far-reaching. Her support, encouragement, and unwavering loyalty made her a constant source of strength to those around her. Above all, her love for her nephew, Noel, defined her personal life. Brenda raised Noel as her own son, offering him unconditional love and providing him with a sense of security that became the foundation of her world.
Brenda’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and generosity. We are profoundly grateful for the time we had with her and for the example she set in living a life of purpose, compassion, and dedication to others.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Pat H. Foley & Company, 1200 W. 34th Street, Texas 77018, followed by a rosary service at 5:00 PM.
