Brenda Dale Van Antwerp

Brenda was a native Houstonian and worked for Exxon, Dresser Ind., San Jacinto stone, MKP Price & Co. and Van & Sons Drilling. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1976 and graduated from the University of Houston on August 25, 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Commerce. Brenda received a certification as a Certified Accountant in Texas on November 23, 1994. Her greatest passions were being a Cheer mom, Dougout mom, Scout mom, her sons, family and NUMBERS!

Brenda is survived by her husband, Eddie L Van Antwerp; her son Ethan Louis Van Antwerp; and her son Elijah Lee Van Antwerp; her sister Lisa Renae McCollum and her brother Travis Easton Smith.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father G. W. Smith and her mother Edna Dale Smith.

A celebration of life for Brenda will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A reception will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
