

Brian Carlisle, loving husband, exceptional brother and amazing friend, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2021. Brian began his career in law enforcement as a Crystal Beach Texas police officer, next becoming a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy. Brian left Harris County to open Las Vegas Bail Bonds and Godfather Bail Bonds in Houston, Texas, where he was one of the most successful bail bondsmen in Texas. He retired many years ago to become a rancher, which was his true passion. His ranch in Doss, Texas was his pride and joy. Most recently, Brian opened Doss General Store and Restaurant in Doss, Texas. He had a great love for his Doss community and made many lifelong friends there, all of whom miss him greatly. Brian raised exotic deer and zebra on his ranch, was fisherman and very good poker player.
Brian is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debi. He married her at the young age of 16 and loved her always. His survived by his in laws Lois and Art Wachter, sister Christi Settegast, sister Lisa Maxwell and her husband Donnie, nieces Alexis Williams and her husband Nick, Erin Settegast and her husband Patrick Lieber, Dana Settegast, Christi Till and her husband Larry, KC Gale and her Husband Kenny, Chelsye Miller and her husband Max, Lauren Bennett and her husband Justin, nephew Giorgio Villani, Sister-in-law Shelley Townsend and her fiancée Robert Whitworth, Brother-in-law Jeff Townsend and fiancée Catherine Lippincott, stepbrothers David Overcash and Mark Overcash, stepsister Bonnie Lynn Volkle and stepmom Linda Carlisle.
He had a very special group of great nieces and nephews who miss their uncle Brian so much; Harper Williams, Avynn Williams, Hudson Leiber, Hayden Leiber, Holden Leiber and Elle Margot Bennett.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents Harry Carlisle and Judy Goodwin, father-in-law Herbert Townsend, his sisters Joni Carlisle and Dana Carlisle, his brother Harry Carlisle, Jr and brother-in-law Eden Settegast.
Brian was the light of our lives, the perfect loving husband, protective brother and super Uncle. We loved him dearly and will miss him.
Our hearts are broken.
