Brian Leroy Hullum, Sr., 87, of Willis, Texas, passed away July 19, 2025, surrounded by close family and friends. Mr. Hullum was born on December 27, 1937, in Kermit, Texas, and was the child of Thelma and Everett Hullum. Mr. Hullum served in the army for four years and then later married Jeanette Levinge on February 14, 1964.
Then, after 30 years of working in the oil and gas field, Mr. Hullum and a friend ventured out and created their own company – here is a word from his business partner, Cliff:
“It is with a heavy heart that I write about my friend and business partner, Brian “Leroy” Hullum.”
“Leroy and I began working together in 1998 at a company called Brannco Oilfield Products.
Leroy already had an extensive career in the Oil/Gas Industry and his engineering bulletins are still in publication today. I did not know anything about oilfield equipment; it was very alien to me. Leroy’s patience, explanations, and kindness taught me so much in life. He wasn’t a man of many words unless you knew him well, he had amazing stories and an amazing life.”
“In 2005, Leroy and I started from ground up B.O.P. Products, LLC over a cup coffee. I could not have been blessed with a better business partner and friend. In September of this year, our company will be 20 years old. The early mornings, late nights and determination made our company successful. The ups and downs of owning and operating a company is not easy to explain, it’s either sink or swim, I thank God for Leroy and all we have accomplished over the years. Leroy retired years ago, but his impact on the company remains. The lives he touched I could talk about for days and not to mention his affinity for doing demolition with forklifts! He had a deep love of running a forklift through walls of buildings we were remodeling. The big smiles you would see on Leroy after he ran a forklift through a wall is something I will never forget.”
“I am devastated he is gone but I am thankful he is in no more pain. Leroy was a giant among men, his legacy/life will live on with his family/career.”
God Bless You Leroy,
Your friend Cliff

Mr. Hullum was enthusiastic about hunting, fishing, guns, and was quite a workaholic, having worked full-time until he was eighty-one. He did manage to squeeze in a couple of international hunting trips with friends somewhere in there and has quite the collection of trophies from his adventures that we will cherish.
Mr. Hullum was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Jeanette Levinge Hullum, his father, Everett Hullum, mother, Thelma Hullum, and three of his four brothers: Billy, David, and Gordon. Mr. Hullum leaves behind his son, Brian Leroy Hullum, Jr.; daughter, Alisa Hullum Wisenbaker and husband Mark Wisenbaker; grandson, Michael Dean Miller and wife Brittany Miller; granddaughter, Adriana Rene Phillips, grandson, Wyatt Lee Wisenbaker; granddaughter, Amber Hullum; grandson, Lee Hullum; great granddaughter, Alexis Renee Miller; great granddaughter, Sabrina Ann Miller; great grandson Jayden Taylor Hullum; great granddaughter Raegan Pfiefer; great grandson Jace Leroy Phillips; and his almost 103-year old father-in-law, Capt Claude Levinge.
Mr. Hullum was a patient husband, a loving and supportive father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was also a co-company creator, employer, and solid friend. He loved fishing, hunting, shooting guns, and relaxing in his recliner.
The Hullum family would like to give special thanks to Amedisys Hospice staff, especially Jennifer, who took such great care of dad, as well as Carolyn and Susan with Just Between Seniors for the compassionate care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Leroy’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, or a charity of your choice.
