He attended S. F. Austin High School in Sugar Land. He was a talented artist and natural musician with over a dozen different instruments. Through training from school he developed a love for working with wood and dreamed of making a life in Alaska.
Bryan had a cadre of friends, including his school orchestra, many we never knew until recent days. He didn't take too many things seriously, but was not irresponsible and always honored us with his loyalty. He brightened our lives by his mere physical presence.
He attended Second Baptist church in Houston and is survived by his mother Pan Li Gillaspy, his father Randall Gillaspy, his older sister Caroline Gillaspy and many relatives on two continents.
We hope all those who he was close to can find peace from the trauma of his sudden passing.
His viewing will be at the Chapel of Peace 2454 S. Dairy Ashford Houston TX on Monday April 22nd from 4pm to 8pm. His graveside service will be on Tuesday April 23rd starting at 11 a.m. All are invited as we celebrate our son who will live in our hearts forever. This world was just too small to hold him.
