A native Houstonian, Buna attended and graduated from Reagan High School. On April 16, 1949, she married Dominick Campagna Jr. and together they raised three children, Judy, Craig, and Nancy.
Buna was a member of St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church. Some of her most cherished memories included spending quality time with her family and making her famous spaghetti. She enjoyed fishing at Lake Livingston, playing cards, playing dominoes, going gambling and most importantly "keeping her family in line". She was a huge Houston Astros and Houston Rockets fan. We will miss these qualities in her and will forever hold her dear to our hearts.
Buna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Dominick Campagna Jr., and parents, Clovis and JC Becton.
She is survived by: Children: Judy T. Alonzo and husband Robert, James Craig Campagna and wife Trudy, Nancy S. Rawson and husband Danny. Grandchildren: Dairan D. Talley, Britt M. Hill, Crystal Gillard, Russell Middleton, and Stacy Fikac; Great Grandchildren: Natalee, Emily, Tyler, Lakely, Samantha, Brant, Makayla, Allie, Kendall, Addison and Beckett, and loving Sister, Lerlene Schuller.
Pallbearers will be Dairan Talley, Russell Middleton, Carl Fikac, Christopher Gillard, Justin Hill, and Tyler Middleton.
The family will receive everyone for viewing and visitation on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A graveside service is scheduled to follow at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
