He is preceded in death by wife Dorothy Snell. He is survived by his three children: Cheryl Tatum and husband Jim, Connie Tatum and Tatum and husband Gary, Cindy Stelchek and husband Edward, four grandchildren: Jason Tatum, Marisa Tatum, Lindsey Tatum and Brian Tatum; three great-grandchildren: Chandler, Kali, and Trent Montgomery, sister Ella Lois Allen.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Room at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039, followed by burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
