Sad to get the call from Linda Saturday, but so Thankful to get to visit with Carl ray and Linda at our Cushing High School Reunion in June. Carl Ray was not only a good classmate ,but also a great Football and Baseball Teammate. I like to point out that the Bearkats were 6 and 0 at one time during the 1955 Football season, I had rather not talk about the rest of the season. We were pretty good in Baseball too and could win our district ,but never could get by San Augustine in Bi-district in our Jr. and Sr years. THANKS my friend for being part of some very, very fond memories

Carl was a good man and I enjoyed working with him in Special Operations. He was friends with people at the Rice Hotel and I enjoyed hearing some of the stories. I lost track after he retired, and I am saddened to learn of his death.

Worked many times with Carl in the early 70's at Reagan Commerce Bank. Carl was a really nice man and a good police officer. Rest In Peace Carl.
