Carlos Cordova Sr.

Carlos 'Cala' Cordova Sr. was born on June 11, 1942 in Sugarland, Texas to Gilberto and Guadalupe Cordova, Cala was one of ten children. He attended school at Immaculate Heart of Mary and Milby High School where he graduated in 1961.

Predeceased in death by his parents Guadalupe and Gilberto, his brothers Frank, Gilberto Jr, Jesse Sr, and his sisters Mary Aurelia, and Teresa.

He retired as a Longshoreman for The Port of Houston after 30 years. Cala had six children, Carlos Cordova Jr., Zachary Sr., Tammy Jean, Renee Lynn, Edward, and Ramon Cordova. His wife, Conchis Cordova, has been by his side for over forty years. He also had six grandchildren, Gigi, Lili, Alyssa, Karla, Zachary, James. He also left to cherish his memory are 4 brothers and sisters, many, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives.
