Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Concepcion.
He is survived by his daughter, Vanessa and son-in-law Bill Krahmer, grandchildren, Benjamin and Jude Krahmer.
Carlos loved watching the Texans and picking on his nieces for cheering for the Cowboys, listening to Tejano music, eating tamales and pan dulce while drinking Mexican coke.
He was always proud to be a Marine. His greatest strength was his loyalty.
Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
The Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
A Private Committal Service will be held at a later date at Houston National Cemetery.
