CJ was born on the 4th of December 1953, to Bernard L. Danna and Lucille Bonno. He was a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church and graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1972 where he played football with many treasured STHS brothers. He graduated from Sam Houston State University.
He was preceded in death by his father and his canine companion, Katie. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Anna Montalbano Danna; his mother, Lucille Bonno Danna; and his loving children, Brandon and Rachel Danna; along with his grand-dog Dakota. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard and Kathy Danna, Mark and Fran Danna, and Gary and Molly Danna; along with many nieces and nephews.
Always a natural at putting family first, CJ loved making Italian sausage around the holidays and was committed to hard work and serving others. A devoted husband and father, he proudly supported his family’s goals and accomplishments. His magnetic personality accompanied his wonderful smile as he was a dedicated employee and leader in the beer industry for over 35 years. He loved his family fiercely, enjoyed golf, football, fishing, and baseball, and spending time with his family and friends in Galveston.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Pat Cook, Dr. Annie Su and Houston Hospice.
