Her parents, Catalina Guasch y Plannells and Jose Rosello y Mallans were both from Ibiza, Spain. They settled in Cuba in 1920, to start new lives in Cuba.
Jose Rosello was a merchant marine who for 14 years had sailed to the Port of Caibarien. It was logical that they would choose Caibarien as their new home. Carmen was the second of four children. Juan, who was born in Ibiza, then Carmen, Catalina and Jose were born in Caibarien, Cuba. She attended The Apostolado School in Caibarien where she studied business.
In 1944 she married Armando F. Delgado a local Medical Doctor and the love of her life. They had six children. Three sons: Armando, Alejandro and Pedro, who would also become doctors in the US; and three daughters: Elvira (Viruchy), Carmen Rosa and Ana Maria, all three in the arts.
In 1961 tragedy disrupted their tranquil lives, forcing them to make the decision to leave Cuba, fleeing the new Castro Regime and immigrating to the Unites States where they flourished once again and raised their family.
She is survived by her sister Catalina who lives in Panama, her 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a large extended family.
She passed peacefully, surrounded in spirit by all her children and grandchildren, in Houston, Texas, where she lived for 51 years.
