Carmen A Lopez, 101, of Houston, Texas passed away on January 13, 2017. In her younger years Carmen enjoyed traveling and working in her garden as well as cooking, reading and crocheting. Carmen had a strong faith and her family would often find her praying. She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Emilia Alcantara, her husband Ignacio Lopez, sons; Albert Lopez, Anastasio Lopez, and Macario Lopez and her grandsons Jorge Lopez, and Jaime Lopez. Left behind to cherish her memory are her children: Ignacio Lopez, Maria Theresa Lopez, Francisco Lopez, Rosa Vasquez and Daniel Hull, 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and countless other family members and friends. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 9am at St Benedict Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. A graveside service will take place on Friday, January 20th at 10am at Rose Hill Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
