Carmen Migdalia Morales

She is preceded in death by her parents Jose B. Morales and Migdalia Zurita, her brother Jose Morales, and her husband of 55 years Juan G. Pereira. She is survived by their children Carmen Faust and husband Dr. Eric Faust, Sandra Rodriguez and her husband Hiram Rodriguez, and son Juan Pereira and his wife Christina Pereira.

She absolutely adored her grandchildren Cassandra, Lily, John, Melody, Evan, Andrew, her great-grandchildren Yanessa and Daviana, and dear nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

She was known for her love for animals, gardening, delicious cooking and a warm, welcoming home. Her quiet strength and spirit of kindness was a source of comfort for many. She leaves behind a heartbroken family and wonderful friends who had the privilege of being blessed by her love, prayers, and support and will miss her dearly.

Donations to her parish, St. Justin Martyr in Houston, or to any animal rescue organization of your choice are welcomed.

A memorial service for Carmen will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Justin Martyr Catholic Church, 13350 Ashford Point Dr, Houston, TX. A reception will occur Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX. A committal service will occur Monday, May 19, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX.
