Carol Jean Durham

Carol was born on the 16th of September 1929, in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived in Texas for most of her life. She was married on the 5th of June 1950 to James W. Durham. They had two children, Stan and Kim Durham.

For over 40 years, she was an elementary school principal’s secretary at Walnut Bend Elementary School. Carol was known for her love for her Lord, her family, and her church Second Baptist in Houston where she was a member since the 1950’s. After retirement, she moved to Georgia to be closer to her daughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, James Durham. She is survived by her brother, Ken Sanders; her son, Reverend Stan Durham and his wife, Linda, and daughter, Kim Wilder and her husband, Reverend Art Wilder; grandchildren, Keaton, Kassidy, and Kylee Durham, Christy Wilbur, Cathy Correa, and Callie Bogle; and five great-grandchildren, Abby, Joshua, and Andrew Wilbur, and Laura and Isabella Correa.
