Carol J. Smith

Carol J. Smith was born on February 26, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Jesse and Jean Foust, and passed away on July 7, 2021. After high school, she met Danny and got married a week before her 18th birthday in 1968. Carol and Danny loved having get-togethers at their home. Whether it was Christmas parties, 50's themed parties, or family reunions, or just regular Sunday dinners.

She loved going to church every Sunday morning to worship the Lord. Carol enjoyed shopping and getting out of the house as much as she could with her grandkids. Her family was blessed to have the best Wife, Mom, "MawMaw", sister, and friend. She loved and welcomed with open arms, everyone who ever entered her home. She never failed to make someone laugh with her witty remarks or to make the best out of any bad situation. She loved her big family and friends more than anything. She is going to be greatly missed by anyone who has ever known her.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Jean Foust.

Carol is survived by the love of her life, Husband of 53 years, Danny Smith, Son Mark Smith, Daughter Shannon Psencik and Husband Kevin ; Grandchildren; Callie and Lauren Psencik, Skyler and Brandon Thompson; Great Grandchildren; Grace, Gentry, Gatlynn, Gianna, and Jasper. Siblings; JoNell Foust, Jesse Jr. Foust and Wife Janice, Debbie Bradshaw and husband Jerry, Dennis Foust, along with numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Carol and Danny's house on Saturday, July 31st, 2021 at 2:00pm
