Carol A. Stanger, 71, of The Woodlands, Texas passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas on June 6, 1946. Carol married Bill Stanger in 1974. Carol worked for Hallmark Office Supply. She had a passion for traveling, knitting, jewelry making, puzzles, reading, games and loving her family.
Left to cherish her memories are children: Vickie Senulis & husband Steve, Vicky Polk & husband Kenneth, Michael Stanger & wife Penny, Rodney Kent; sister Janet Jones & husband Bill; grandchildren: Mary Pitre, Christy Mindiola, Joshua Polk, Jillian Polk, Amanda Senulis, Amy Van Zandt, Kainan Kent, Chase Kent; great-greatchildren: Jr. Diaz, Miranda Lynn, Tyler Craig, Halle Grace, Gabriel Rene, Morgan Carlotta, Catelyn Faith, Sara Kay, Emma Marie, Emma Grace, Samantha Nance, Jaxon Lee, Landon Elliott, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and extended family: Eugene Lorenzo,Betty Alexander, Deanna Downs, Jayne Kent, Brittany Hutson, Peggy Sue Williams, Teri McKinnon Stanger, Cindy Campbell, Amber Polk and a host of other loving family, and her little dog Bruiser.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents H. Gordon Allen and Inez Elizabeth Lamonte-Allen; sister Linda Allen Hall; and husband Billy Charles Stanger.
Family will receive friends and family for visitation on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Chimes at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The funeral will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park. Officiating, Mark Cochran.
