Carole J. Dugan

was born in December of 1946 in Boston, graduated from Randolph High School, and attended nursing

school at Lemuel Shattuck School of Practical Nursing. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven

years, Albert Dugan; her three children Phyllis Bullock (Bob), Carolyn Yohe (Mark), Matthew Dugan;

grandchildren Kristi Bullock (Dylan Draper), Alyssa Williams (Preston), Joshua Bullock, Daniel Yohe

(Kayla), Micah Yohe (Delaney McRitchie), Andrew Yohe; great-grandchildren Oliver and Charlotte Yohe;

her sister, Rosemary Hartman; her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and her many beloved in-laws whom she considered a part of her family. Preceded in death by her parents Philip and Laura Schwartz; and her siblings Phyllis Gould (Fred), Earle Schwartz, and Richard Schwartz.

Carole considered herself a New England girl through and through and loved to cheer on her favorite

sports teams (which came to include the Houston Astros). She served in many aspects of her life, an

active member of her churches: Randolph First Baptist and Fairfield Baptist, including the Beacons and

JOY ministries. She worked as a nurse throughout the years in a variety of locations, and spent over three

decades working in her women’s club and in many capacities within the GFWC. She loved to bake and

cook, and used her gift of hospitality to make others feel welcome. She was an avid reader and enjoyed

crosswords. Carole served as an outpouring of her love for Jesus, wanting her life to be an encouragement and example for others.

The Celebration of Life Service for Carole will be Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Fairfield Baptist Church, 27240 Hwy. 290, Cypress, Texas 77433 at 11:00am followed by a light luncheon immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, Carole requests that donations be made to Fairfield Baptist Church – Camp Scholarships, or Cypress Assistance Ministries.
