Carole Kay Taylor Evans Urban passed away July 10, 2012, in Houston, Texas. Carole was born in Riverside, California on October 2, 1944, to parents, Dorothy and Clyde Taylor. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, Texas and attended Texas Tech University and Tulsa University. Carole was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and Northwest Houston Theta Alumni Chapter. She was a biology teacher at Jersey Village High School for twenty years. Carole was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother and brother, Ray Taylor; daughter, Debbie Kendall and son, Steven Evans, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren: Andrew, Joshua, Colby and Madison; step-children, Amber Steely and Lance Urban and partner, Wally Urban. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012, between the hours of 6:00-9:00PM at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 14, 2012, 10:30AM at The Foundry United Methodist Church, 8350 Jones Road, Houston. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston.
