Carolina was one of my very best friends here in Colorado and I am terribly saddened by the news of her passing. I had seen her for lunch on the 21st of January before she made her big trip back home to Texas 💔 I am very grateful that the last 2 times I saw her we laughed and hugged and told each other we loved each other. I miss her dearly. A funny memory I’d like to share is about the time she came to my 29th birthday at Boyd lake in Loveland, CO a year and a half ago. She had never been paddle boarding before and decided to give it a go that day. I was on another paddle board with my friend Ramona while Carolina was on a separate board with another friend. They ended up tipping their board over and falling into the water and I laughed so hard because Carolina literally shot back out of the water and back onto the paddleboard in the blink of an eye 😂 it was as if you had tried to put a cat in the lake! haha my friend Ramona and I were dying. She was absolutely hilarious, feisty, deep, and so full of life. She always told it like it was but in a respectful way. She only called people out when they needed to hear it. I am so sorry for your loss and pain, know that you are not alone. I miss her everyday. With all my heart… Karly ❤️ 

I Worked with Carolina for 6 years, she was an awesome coworker and even better friend. Ill cherish our many laughs, tears and memories together. This picture was taken in pagosa Springs celebrating March birthdays and girls weekend.  Thank you for all you’ve taught me, love you forever girl 💔

My daughter, Jessica Riedel, was a close friend of Carolina’s.  They got to know each other during their senior year at Bush HS.  Carolina was always a loyal and devoted friend to Jessica and vice versa.  

After Carolina moved out of state, she and Jessica didn’t get to see each other as much, but their friendship stood the test of time and distance.   Jessica traveled to CO to be a bridesmaid in Carolina’s wedding.  Being the loyal friend that Carolina was, she traveled from CO to attend Jessica’s wedding in 2018.  I didn’t know Carolina well, but I remember seeing her among the wedding guests when Jessica’s wedding was held at our home.

I know there is nothing I can say to lessen the terrible pain of losing Carolina to her family and many friends.  Only the passage of time is what will ease the pain, and the many cherished memories everyone had of Carolina will help bring comfort.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to everyone, both family and friends who are so hurt and devastated at this terrible loss right now.  Just remember that Carolina is safe in the arms of our Lord, where there is no Earthly pain and suffering.  She is waiting for you and the reunion will be glorious when you see her again.

Carolina we have so many fond memories of you over the last decade!  Baby showers, Forth of July BBQs, weddings and New Year’s Eve celebrations.  My favorite though, is wedding dress shopping with you.  I was so honored to be asked to take part.  You, Marian and I all cried when they put the Vail on .  You were stunning and perfect! You will always be remembered as my beautiful niece.  Rest in Peace.

And the Gore Family. She was our family too, my sister too. I terribly miss the Carolina that I once knew. Her laugh was contagious, her wit was beyond compare.  So many holidays together, so many memories.  We will never forget.

Carolina and I got to spend a day at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in December.  I will forever be grateful for that day and the memories we shared. She was a very caring person who helped mentor and guide me and I am a better person having know her.  I will always cherish our friendship and working relationship.  ❤️ 😇 🐧
