Carolyn Faye Barnes departed this life on June 26, 2025. She was born to John L. and Henrietta Barnes in Houston, Texas on July 21, 1960. She attended Eisenhower High School. She enjoyed watching movies and being with family and friends.

Carolyn leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Henrietta Barnes (Houston, Texas); brothers, John L. and Delosie Barnes (Houston, Texas); Bobby L. and Vickie Barnes (Baytown, Texas); Asberry and Sherry Barnes (Houston, Texas). Carolyn has one nephew, Sedrick Stevenson; two nieces, Renee Barnes and Sherell Wrice; one godson, Jordynn D. Stevenson; four great-nieces and four great-nephews whom she loved so much; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Magnolia COGIC, 154 Charlie St. Magnolia Texas 77354 . The funeral will immediately follow from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, The committal will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Roberts Cemetery, 20214 Roberts Cemetery Rd. Hockley Texas 77447.
