Carolyn was widowed in 1961 and eventually settled in Tyler, Texas where she met her second husband, Silas C. Bartlett, Jr. In 1966 they married and moved to Houston where they were longterm residents. Carolyn’s third child, Tina Lynn Bartlett was born in 1970.
Carolyn worked for Texas Cardiology Associates of Houston managing their office for 25 years. She retired at the age of 65 and spent the rest of her years being Nanny to her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who were by far the greatest joys of her life.
