Carolyn Diann Capdeville Brunet, Age 75 Years, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 in Houston, Tx. Born December 7, 1942 in New Orleans, LA., she was a loving wife, mother, MawMaw, and sister. She graduated from St James Major High School, New Orleans, LA, spent 21 exciting years as the wife of a Navy Lt. Cmdr. After Gerard's retirement from the Navy, she was an officer of Westlake National Bank in Austin, TX. for 12 years. Recently she was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She most enjoyed spending time with family, especially her precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband Gerard J. Brunet. Left to cherish her fond memories are her sons and their wives: Philip Brunet (Lexy Dec’d), Paul Brunet (Kerri) and Peter Brunet (Gwen); sister: Beth "Negoat" Strahan (Truman); brother: Harold "Rocky" Capdeville (Dec’d); brother-in-law: Randy Brunet (Nancy); grandchildren: Sarah, Rachel, Jacob, Heidi, Annika and Devin; goddaughter: Emily Capdeville; godson: Kenneth Brunet and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A rosary will occur Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Epipany of the Lord Catholic Church, 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, TX 77450. A committal service will occur Friday, April 20, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78209.
