Carolyn Vicki Engelke

Carolyn was born in Houston, Texas to John Kalleen and Trudy Weidner Kalleen on August 12, 1941. She went to school at Trinity Lutheran School in Downtown Houston. She married Clarence Engelke on April 4, 1970 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston. She was a devoted wife and mother and was involved in her church, Pilgrim Lutheran, for many years.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Engelke; her father, John Kalleen; and her mother, Trudy Weidner Kalleen.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Heidi Engelke; her son, Dustin Engelke; her granddaughter, Kaelyn Huang; her grandson, Austin Huang and her sister, Nancy Hudson.

The family of Carolyn Engelke wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took such great care of her at The Landing at Watercrest, where she resided the last year and a half, and the nurses, doctors and chaplain of Memorial Hermann Pearland ER.
