Carolyn was born on December 8, 1938, in Caldwell, Texas, to parents Johnnie Zigler Ramsey and Billie Maurine King Ramsey. She attended Sam Houston High School (Class of ’56) and the University of Houston.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister Lois Van Wart, and survived by her husband of sixty years Robert Benjamin Ferguson, her sister Mary Ellen Clayton, her brother John Ramsey, her children Pamela Maurine Hedegaard and Roy Benjamin Ferguson, and her grandchildren Erika, Conor, Victoria, Archer, and Alissa.
The funeral service will be held on August 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, Texas 77077.
