

Carolyn Sue Nicholls, 88, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2021. Sue was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 23, 1932. Sue Graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and was a Member of the Chi Omega Sorority.
Sue was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was such a shining light and exuded joy everywhere she went. Heaven gained an angel this week and she will be truly missed.
Sue was a gentle soul, happy, friendly, kind, loyal, and loved by everyone she met. She loved watching her hometown Astros and Houston Rockets. Sue loved her church family, sewing, bridge, reading, knitting and her Chapelwood Sunday School class, The Candle Lighters. Sue was well known for the amazing pot holders that she knitted for anyone who would ask for one. She was proud of her grandchildren’s accomplishments and could be found cheering them on at their games and activities.
Sue is survived by her sons, Nick and Jeff Nicholls, daughter Kathy Aldridge and husband Bret, Grandchildren Kristin Forrest, Tara Morgan and husband Mac, Jacob Aldridge and wife Erica, Great-Grandchildren Cooper and Aubrey Forrest, Cole, Tenley and Cade Morgan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Ellsworth Nicholls.
A private family gravesite service will be held on Sunday, May 23 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
